Rankaim's terms of service — buyer and publisher obligations, the order and escrow process, and prohibited content.

1. Who we are
Rankaim is operated by Rankaim LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16939962, with its registered office at Office No. 124, City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Rankaim" mean Rankaim LTD. "You" means the person or business using the platform, whether as a buyer or a publisher.

2. What Rankaim is, and what it is not
Rankaim is a marketplace. Publishers list their websites and set their own prices. Buyers order article placements on those websites. We hold payment in escrow, coordinate the order, verify that the link goes live, and monitor it afterwards.
We are not an SEO agency and we do not guarantee results. We do not promise that a placement will improve your search rankings, traffic, revenue, or anything else. Search engines decide how to treat any link, and no supplier can control that. What we guarantee is described in section 7: that the placement is made, that it goes live, and that it stays live for twelve months or is replaced or refunded.
We do not own or control publisher websites. Publishers are independent third parties. They decide what to publish, and they remain responsible for their own websites, their own content, and their own compliance with search engine guidelines and applicable law.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter this agreement, on your own behalf or for a business.
Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at hello@rankaim.co if you think someone else has access.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attempts to defraud the platform or its users, or repeatedly fails to meet its obligations. Where funds are held, we will settle what is legitimately owed before closing.
4. Pricing and how money moves
One price. Publishers set the listed price. That is the price a buyer pays. Nothing is added at checkout.
Our fee. Rankaim deducts a flat 20% of the listed price. The publisher receives the remainder. A site listed at £80 means the buyer pays £80, we deduct £16, and the publisher receives £64. The publisher sees this split before listing and on every order.
Escrow. When an order is placed, the buyer's funds move into escrow. They are not released to the publisher until the link is confirmed live and a seven day verification hold has passed. Funds released to publishers are paid out in a weekly batch each Monday, subject to a £50 minimum withdrawal.
Currency and payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
5. Buyer obligations
You may not use the platform to place links to content that is illegal, fraudulent, or that infringes anyone's rights.
You are responsible for the target URL and the anchor text you submit. Publishers may refuse an order, or ask you to change an anchor, if it does not fit their site.
Some categories carry restrictions and some publishers decline them entirely. Where a category is restricted, this is shown on the listing.
6. Publisher obligations
To list a website you must own it or be authorised to publish on it, and you must be able to verify control of the domain.
Sites must meet our published minimum standard at the time of application and continue to meet it while listed. Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. Listed sites are re-verified periodically; a site that no longer meets the standard may be suspended or removed from the marketplace.
When you accept an order you agree to publish it within the turnaround time you set, to keep the placement live, and to tell us if you can no longer do so. You may decline any order.
You must not attempt to move a transaction off the platform. Contact details exchanged in order messages are filtered, and repeated attempts may result in removal and forfeiture of pending amounts for the orders concerned.
7. The twelve month guarantee
Every placement is checked daily for twelve months from the date it goes live.
If a link is removed, changed to nofollow, or the page stops resolving, the publisher is notified and has 72 hours to restore it. If it is not restored, the order is resolved as either a replacement placement on a comparable site at no additional cost to you, or a refund to your Rankaim balance. You may state a preference; where none is given we will offer a replacement first.
This guarantee covers the link being present and functional. It does not cover search engine treatment of the link, changes in the publisher's traffic or metrics after purchase, or your own rankings.
8. Disputes between users
Where a buyer and a publisher disagree about an order, either may raise a dispute. Escrowed funds for that order are frozen while it is open. We review the order record, the message thread, and our own monitoring data, and decide the outcome. Our decision on the release of escrowed funds is final as between you and us.
We are not a party to the underlying publishing arrangement and we do not act as anyone's agent.
9. Content
Where Rankaim supplies article content as part of an order, you may use it for the placement it was written for. The publisher may edit it to fit their editorial standards.
You keep ownership of any content you supply, and you confirm you have the right to supply it.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of rankings, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We provide the platform as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. Where a change is material we will give notice by email or in your account at least 14 days before it takes effect. Orders already placed continue under the terms that applied when they were placed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
